Title 3 of the Natural Resources Code relates to Oil & Gas. Some important provisions are:
- §91.502 - royalty reporting statute setting forth what an operator is required to report to you on check stubs.
- §91.504 - gives you the right to make a written request for additional information concerning your royalty payments from your operator.
- §91.507 - your operator is required to respond to your written request within 60 days, and if you do not receive a response, you can file suit to enforce §91.504 and recover court costs and attorney's fees.
